  Inspired to Lead

What is your company's greatest asset?......

If you said your employees, you are correct!  Human capital is your greatest asset.  Studies have been done on the cost of replacing an employee and the longer that employee has been there, the higher rank position, the higher the cost (1/2 - 5 times annual salary).  And, one reason employees leave?  Not for more money, but because of problems with their boss [40% according to a study by Florida State University].  The return on investment for you to develop your leaders is huge!  Development of your leader reaps rewards far beyond increase in sales.  When you invest in the life of your leader, you invest in them as a person, in them as an employee, and in your company.

Most companies invest in training their employees.  While this is a good use of dollars, is it the best use?  We use proven leadership development curriculum that has exceptional outcomes:

Workforce Development:

“Leadership addresses and develops 11 of the 12 skills in highest demand identified by Ready Indiana, an arm of the Indiana State Chamber of Commerce.” — Deniece Loyd

Economic Development:

On average, each participant has saved their company approximately $9,000 per year through increased productivity due to implementation of tools learned through the Leadership curriculum, or has an increased productivity by over 150 hours/year/participant.

Not just for business, but life-training:

“LEAD* is my life coach in setting goals, personally and professionally.  Learning more about my community and the organizations that need leaders to make them grow and be successful.” – Susan Metka, Your Community Bank

Training is generally associated with learning a skill, how to do a job, a process, or the use of a machine or software.  These skills are all necessary to more effectively do a job.

Inspired to Lead can assist with some training, but our true focus is on developing people for and over the long-term.  Development is on-going, planned, and intentional.  We work with clients in leadership development to address three essential elements:

Attitude Development

Interpersonal and Leadership Skills

Goal Setting

In both our leadership and executive leadership development, we focus on a process that is structured, open-ended, and pragmatic for optimal growth.  The process is designed to help individuals develop the attitudes, skills, and qualities necessary for personal and professional growth. Each of our curriculums are based on the same process including visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning.  By utilizing all three learning styles, the retention and therefore application is significantly increased which therefore increases return on investment.  Each of our three leadership curriculum covers some of the same skills.  You can view a List of Topics in our three leadership curriculum.

Whether that development is one-on-one or in a group setting, we welcome the opportunity to work with you on the long-term leadership development.

* LEAD is a community based leadership skills development program being offered in Metro Louisville that uses the leadership curriculum as well as in-depth knowledge on DiSC® Behavior Profile.
